I am CJ Johnson, and I am the Business Development Specialist for Nexus 21. I have a number of responsibilities here but my favorite part of the job is chatting with you great people all day and making sure you get the all information you need.

Professional Experience

I graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelors Degree in Public Relations and a Minor in Sociology. I had a great time while attending ISU and I also learned some stuff as well. Since graduation in 2005 I have worked solely in client relations and business development. I have always enjoyed speaking directly with clients and getting to know them.

I chose to pursue a career with Nexus 21 because of the people here and the product they produce. The guys over here at Nexus operate with ethics, integrity, and professionalism. They are also blast to work with! Sometimes I actually have to step out of the office because I am laughing too hard to talk on the phone. I truly believe in the Nexus 21 products and I feel confident that I am representing the best quality and coolest product of its kind.

Personal Stuff

My real name is Cory but my boss already has that name so he made me change it upon employment with Nexus 21. Truth be told, it was my idea because CJ has always been my nickname anyway and I always liked it. My hobbies include hiking, snowboarding, drinking my boss’ fine tequila, working-out (not necessarily in that order), traveling and cooking. I also play the congas and the guitar. I am originally from Chicago and if I could describe myself in one word it would be "Bears Fan".
