Cory Lovett is our Executive Vice President. He directly manages our marketing and client relations efforts, and is principally responsible for Nexus 21’s marketing campaigns, website development and branding.
Professional
Cory has spent most of his career in high level management and specialty marketing. As Director of Operations for a highly successful asset disposition firm, he personally managed major disposition projects for hundreds of large clients all over the US, including American Express, Wells Fargo, Chevron-Texaco, Pfizer, and Arthur Anderson. During this time he pioneered successful marketing and job-management models that are still used today for corporate asset disposition.
Early in 2008 Cory had a surprise reunion with his long-time business associate, founder and CEO of Nexus 21, Jeff Meskan. The meeting proved mutually beneficial, and the two decided to form a new partnership with the goal of making Nexus 21 the foremost TV Lift company in the industry. "When the opportunity arose to join Nexus 21, I had to get on board, comments Cory. "Once I explored the company and its products, I was thoroughly impressed. At Nexus 21 we take great pride in taking extra care of our clients, and in producing an exceptional line of products."
Personal
Early in his life, Cory lived in Valparaiso, Chile for several years. He comments, "Exploring the South American coast and living with the Chilean people heightened my awareness of the differences and the similarities we all share. I learned the value of interpersonal and cross-cultural communication and this played a large role in the development of my deep appreciation for psychology and marketing."
Fluent in written and verbal Spanish, Cory is fortunate to be able to put his language and cultural knowledge to good use among his various peers and acquaintances within the Latino community, and he is often solicited for his skills as a Spanish-English interpreter.
When Cory is not working to camouflage the nation's flat screen televisions, he may be found spending time with his two sons, participating in functions of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, enjoying his collection of lounge music or visiting the tequila region of Mexico, indulging in one of his other passions: The history and production of fine tequila.
