Nexus 21's TV Lift Model L-27 was featured on ABC's hit series, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition in an episode that aired Sunday, April 22, 2007 at 7p.m. We were privileged to be able to donate a TV Lift and TV Lift Cabinet to help improve a deserving family’s life in their home, located in Oklahoma.
“I feel privileged and grateful that we are being included in this experience,” said Jeff Meskan, founder and CEO of Nexus 21. “Knowing that we can do anything at all to help ease the strain of day-to-day life for this family is gratifying.”
The father of the selected family is a veteran of Project Iraqi Freedom. He was discharged from the Army after being injured in Iraq. Then sadly, he and his family were involved in a tragic car accident that left him and his 8-year-old son paralyzed, and his youngest daughter suffering from severe organ damage.
No amount of donation can erase the tragedy suffered by this family and the many others who have suffered injuries or loss of life while serving our country. Even so, donations, both small and large, DO make a difference. We hope many others will follow Extreme Makeover's example by finding ways to help our injured veterans, and we want to express our deep thanks for the opportunity to participate in this project. Our hearts and our best wishes go out to this family, as well as our sincere thanks to the father for his sacrifices in defense of our country.
