Heather Sanders is the Business Development Manager of Nexus 21 for the west coast. Prior to joining Nexus 21, Heather was an Account Executive for Starcom MediaVest Group Directory Marketing, based in Chicago. Heather managed the West Region of the Sprint/Nextel national Yellow Pages account. She planned and creatively executed directory marketing using syndicated market research and media planning. Heather has proven to be successful at executing marketing programs that build brand image, spur revenue and profit growth, and achieve strategic business goals.
Education and Professional Affiliations
Heather graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication concentrating on Public Relations and Organizational Communication. She was cited for outstanding achievement in Communication Theory and was an active member of the Communication Association Seeking Excellence (CASE). In her senior year, Heather participated in a Public Relations campaign for a non-profit cancer wellness center. Heather has also served as a Relay for Life campaign volunteer for the American Cancer Society.
Interests
Since moving from Chicago to Scottsdale in the fall of 2006, Heather has been enjoying the outdoors. She recently took up hiking, looks forward to weekend camping trips, and exploring more of Arizona. Heather also finds pleasure in visiting art galleries and museums, shopping for music, cooking for her family and friends, and taking her Pug, Maxwell, to the park.
