This is one of our favorite custom TV Lift Cabinets! What a COOL design. What is more, Guy actually designed AND built this cabinet himself! We have not met too many non-professional cabinetmakers who can do that! In addition to its obvious aesthetic appeal, the unit also has the unique distinction of including a separate-but-integrated pull-out TV cabinet on casters to allow for viewing from any angle. Smart! Congratulations Guy on a really beautiful project!

“… THE HEART OF A UNIQUE APPLICATION …”
My family room presented a challenge: I needed to build a cabinet, with a hidden TV, for a space that’s too far to the side of the seating area for good TV watching. That’s how I came up with an unconventional design – a pullout TV section that can be positioned to wherever the viewers are in the room.
I began my planning by researching several TV lifts. And when I found the Nexus 21 L-27, I was immediately impressed by its simple, robust, economical, and compact design. It met every one of my criteria!
When the L-27 arrived, I mounted it on a test stand so I could take the actual measurements of the lift+TV, which I used to determine the smallest possible interior dimensions of the pullout section. I designed and built the rest of the cabinet around that. So it’s true to say that Nexus 21 started as, and remains, the heart of my system!
