When looking for a lift system for my plasma TV, I soon became dismayed that those cool systems, like you see on MTV Cribs, would run me anywhere from 3 to 4 times what I paid for the plasma itself! Since I didn't exactly have a new album dropping the following week, I figured the lift systems might be a little out of my price range. Then I found Nexus 21. Their price wasn't some unbelievably low figure that left you wondering how many months it would take for the poorly made import lift to come crashing down with your plasma attached, but it also wasn't as high as many others, who charge what seems like enough money to build an entire home theater.
Let's face it, anyone who has a plasma that pops out of a box at the end of their bed is not exactly scraping by for money, but I'm certainly not one that can afford to spend thousands of dollars on a custom setup either. Nexus 21 does a good job of providing a quality lift at a great price. And yes, I might be a writer, but no, I'm not on the company payroll!
I would like to be able to say that Nexus helped me through the entire install, but honestly, I wouldn't know because I never had to call. The instructions they included were made clear by many step-by-step photos and I'm certain that if I had any questions, the guys at Nexus would have been glad to help.
If you find a company that puts out a great product, it's worth mentioning. If you find one that puts out a great product AND backs it up with tremendous customer support, it's worth mentioning again and again. Great product! Great company! Thanks Justin and all the staff at Nexus. - David Morrison

After building a whole bedroom furniture set from scratch, David laughed and decided he needed a more formidable challenge. He immediately burnt his entire house down and started building it from scratch... with nothing but his bare hands. We heard he finished that project in just under 4 days.
But seriously - this is a very cool project! From now on, whenever we hear the term "built from the ground up" we will think of David. As you can see by looking at these photos, he took an empty room and created a great-looking custom bedroom set from scratch. He also makes good use of the swivel function that is built-in to the lift system in order to see the television from multiple viewing positions in the room.
