Durability Testing:
Nexus 21 TV Lifts are the most reliable lifts in the industry. They have been load-tested to over 40,000 cycles with no failure (the equivalent of raising and lowering the TV 10 times a day for 10 years). After this rigorous cycle testing, analysis of the internal parts shows no exceptional wear in any of the components or lubricants. As stated above, to date we have never had a lift break down.

Decibel Testing:
We get asked often about how quiet our lifts are. To answer this, we had decibel testing done. The test administrators did the following: Using a decibel meter, they measured the ambient sound in the room before running the test. It was about 35 db. Then, standing 4 feet from the lift, they measured the sound levels with the lift running. Multiple tests confirmed that the lift affected the sound level by only 5 db. That is very quiet (typical human speech is about 60 db), and these tests were done with the lift OUT IN THE OPEN, not in a cabinet, which would further dampen the sound.
