Do you want to incorporate one or more speakers into your TV lift cabinet? Here are four ways you can do just that:

  1. Use our Speaker Shelf (L39, L-39S, and DL-39). This is the ideal option for your center channel speaker. It sits right below the TV and can turn with our swivel lift. If you don’t plan to use this area for other components such as a DVD player or DVR, it’s free for a speaker tray.

  1. Hide speakers inside the cabinet behind fabric screens. These let sound through but keep your speakers hidden away out of sight. This ensures there are no wires straggling out and that the top of your lift cabinet is free of clutter.

  1. Put speakers on their own lifts. These can be located on either side of the TV to give you a little of that “surround sound” feel. If you really want to go all the way, you can consider putting speakers on drop down lifts in the ceiling.

  1. If you’re having a custom cabinet built, you might also consider putting a speaker and other components on top of the TV so they lift along with it. You can see an example of this kind of design over at RayTechCorp.
