From the outside, this modern Los Angeles home seems like any other. On the inside, it’s the perfect game day hangout equipped with the latest technology.

Drew and Jonathan Scott of “Property Brothers” worked with award-winning artist, Snoop Dogg, to surprise his business partner, Commish, with a life-changing renovation. Snoop worked to transform Commish’s old garage into a personalized luxury retreat where he can relax and take some time for himself without sacrificing the best in entertainment.
Limited on space, the Scott brothers installed a Nexus 21 pop-up TV lift in the kitchen counter to match the sleek, minimalistic design. Whenever Commish wants to kick back and watch TV, all he has to do is press a button and a luxurious 60-inch screen will quietly rise out of the countertop. When he is done viewing, he can simply lower the TV for a seamless transition back to a smooth kitchen counter.
“Originally we planned on having a TV screen drop-down from the ceiling, but when the slope of the roof wouldn’t allow for it, we pivoted from drop-down to pop-up.” Drew said, “We created a cavity in the countertop that’ll hold a pop-up television, giving us a much better layout so we can get a larger sectional for the space”.
To keep the party going, the TV is viewable from the outside grill thanks to the smooth 360-degree manual swivel capability of the Model L-50ens pop-up lift. With no visual footprint and near-silent operation, Commish can watch TV from any angle while maximizing counter space so that he can host an entire football team with ease.
“Snoop wanted Commish to experience football-watching in style and was adamant that he wanted to go ‘high-tech television extravaganza’,” Jonathan continued, “I think we were able to top his expectations”.
